OSM Group Christmas donation
Stockholm, December 2010.
The success of the OSM Group can be contributed to many people; employees, customers and suppliers, who are located all around the world. A way for the OSM Group to show its appreciation is by giving something back to the societies where we operate. In 2006 we established our own charity organization, OSM Charity. This organization works with initiating, driving and supporting charity projects mainly in China, where the majority of our operations are located. The projects are focused on support to children and students. Examples of activities are: donations of school supplies, sponsoring volunteer teachers and financially supporting children in foster care. More information can be found on www.osmcharity.com.
This year, OSM Group has chosen to donate money to OSM Charity instead of buying Christmas presents to our customers. All customers will receive a card with Happy Holiday wishes and a note about our donation. The money will be used for the following projects:
500 children in the Sapiwu area will receive a set of educational material including reading books, pencils, erasers and a toy.
Four children will receive foster care during one year at True Children’s Home (TCH). True Children’s Home is an organization which takes care of children with medical needs and arranges and prepares them for life changing surgery. www.truechildrenshome.org
We hope that everyone can share the joy and happiness that our contribution brings to these children!
